Too vs Enough: What’s the Difference?

Understand how to use too and enough correctly with easy examples and grammar tips in this short English learning video.

Is it “too big” or “big enough”? Many English learners confuse too and enough, but this video makes it easy to understand.

We use too when something is more than what we want or need. For example:
This shirt is too big for me.
It means the shirt is larger than necessary.

We use enough when something meets the right amount or level. For example:
The shirt is big enough for me.
It means the size is just right — not too small or too big.

Notice: enough comes after adjectives, like “big enough” or “large enough.”

In the video, you’ll also get a quiz question:
The room isn’t large ___ for everyone.
Can you fill in the blank? (Hint: It’s “enough!”)

Practice using too and enough correctly, and you’ll sound more natural and confident in English. Watch, repeat, and try making your own examples after the video.
