English Difficulty Levels: From Impossible to Effortless
Understanding how to describe difficulty levels in English helps improve your communication skills. Whether you’re talking about a task, challenge, or experience, using the right word makes your message clear.
At the hardest level, we say something is “impossible.” If it’s slightly easier, we can use “extremely difficult” or “very difficult.” A step down from that is “challenging,” which means it’s hard but achievable.
For tasks that are neither too hard nor too easy, “manageable” is a great word to use. If something is not difficult, we say it’s “easy” or “very easy.” Finally, if something requires no effort at all, “effortless” is the perfect word to describe it.
